About Variety KC

One out of four families has a member with a disability, and one in six kids. On average, it takes about $250,000 to raise a child from birth to age 18, but it will cost 10x that to raise a child with special needs, at an average of $2.5 million.

Since 1934, Variety KC has helped children in the Kansas City area by providing mobility and communication devices as well as opportunities for inclusion within our community. We believe all kids should Be Active, Be Social, and Belong.
